Well, maybe not sweet but definitely short in the best way. I normally like deep dives and hate humor in the true crime genre, but this pod breaks my self-imposed rules. The host hits the highlights which doesn’t bore you and you don’t get lost in minutiae. The humor is appropriate and not in reference to the victims.

Call ever since I was an early teenager I have been a fan of true crime and fictional crime as well. About two months ago I started getting into podcasts I am a delivery driver for a local restaurant in my city and listening to the 10 minute murder podcast is the perfect way to pass time in my car rather than listening to music. Joe’s voice is very peaceful which is strange considering the topic he is discussing. Some of these crimes I have heard about but most of them I have not which makes it even more interesting to me. 10 out of 10 would recommend

This might be my new favorite podcast! I love Joe’s sarcastic humor and the fact that I can get a whole episode in in ten minutes.

I could listen to you talk all day. I love that you use real 911 calls. I love hearing them, the pure emotion is someone’s voice is the true tell if they did it or not. You’re an amazing storyteller. Everything you want from a podcasts is right here! The one-line quips of dry humor is right up my alley. Perfectly binge-worthy! Just enough blood, terror, brutality, crazy, murder, sickness & scariness in one episode. ❤️

I know quite a few people who just want to be a walking index of murders and prefer no chit-chat. This pod delivers. That doesn’t mean the victims and the impacts the crime had on them are lost. True crime junkies know that truly horrific acts aren’t just direct but have a way of rippling through friends, family and communities. The show does a solid job of being insightful while making you empathize with all those affected. Itunes has 52 ratings and 51 of them are 5 stars! I’m not sure I’ve reviewed a pod with such a high average like that. Only 6 written reviews so if you listen and like it please be sure to go show it some love. Episodes are about 14 minutes long so perfect for listening to a few on the commute to work. There are 56 episodes out now and new ones come out three times a week. Owltail has the top episodes as Halloween Movie Massacre and Diabolical Stew Of Human Remains. I found the most interesting to be I Killed Them Because I Was Born To and The Coast To Coast Killer Tommy Lynn Sells. Music is on theme and the host has a really recognizable radio voice. Each episode starts with 2-3 ads that can be easily skipped through. The script is obviously really well thought out and planned. Love this podcast...just enough to satisfy!

These stories are insightful, as one can sympathize with the victims families and understand the struggles investigators must feel everyday as they wrangle with the emotional components of Murder cases.

I love being able to get my true crime fix while on the go! I really enjoy the audio clips and “to the point” concise nature of the material. The puns and dry humor spun in there are a nice touch too!
